Join Unison

There are still many misconceptions about the cost of UNISON membership and for employees earning under £20,000 per annum we are the cheapest -

  • UNISON-£11.50
  • GMB-£11.70
  • UNITE-£12.05

The micro-site for new joiners is now up and running http://www.joinunison.org/ as is the Free Phone recruitment hot line number 0800 171 2193

UNITE REJOIN LGPS NEGOTIATIONS

Having pulled out of the LGPS negotiations before Christmas and confirmed their opposition to the agreed process earlier this month, UNITE has considered the position further and on 30th January came back into the talks.

The LGPS negotiations are proceeding on the basis of the principles agreed by all parties on the 19th December. Unite has agreed to rejoin these negotiations a position which GMB, Unison and the LGA are pleased to confirm.

It is good news to have a re-united trade union side at this critical time.
