The UNISON Press Office has an outstanding request from Keo Films for contacts with our members.
Keo Films are developing, with BBC2, a new documentary series that aims to show what it’s like for the more than one million British working households who are ‘just about managing’. It will be filmed sympathetically from the individual’s perspective, as Keo did with its BAFTA-winning Exodus: Our Journey to Europe, which followed migrants fleeing conflict from various warzones.
They are looking for individuals and families in different jobs in all parts of the UK. Potential people should either be in-work (or have recently worked) and are struggling to manage their finances, work, and personal circumstances.
The filming will take place over the next 18 months and all the film-makers would like to do initially is to identify individuals and families who might be interested in taking part. If chosen to feature in the film, people obviously have to be happy to be filmed, but can change their minds at any time.
